[s2If !is_user_logged_in()]Having now a refreshed view of our perceived financial position and dubbed it a ‘new financial year’, some will be motivated to calculate the way forward with a degree more consciousness. If fear is the ultimate destroyer and panic speeds the process, then faith must be the alternative. In any case, as the focus in the rational world is predominantly on lack – lack of time (short term vision), lack of money (excessive living expenses), lack of confidence (indecision), lack of self worth (power struggles), there must always be a contract as the pendulum still swings.
Money has a long and interesting history and there are still conflicting perceptions of it worth. As a measurable item, its value varies depending on where you live, your cultural beliefs, and certainly, by the name you give it. It is accepted that you can save it, exchange it, spend it, collect it, share it, honour it, dishonour it, and manipulate situations and others with it. As something lying around on the shelf, it has little value. The same note or coin handed to a bus driver means that you can probably afford to get home.[/s2If]
[s2If is_user_logged_in()]Over time, money has had many powers, or has it? What is it about that? When I hand someone $10, I am transferring energy from my hand, through the money in to the hand of the recipient. On the other hand, am I?
Is there a difference between $10 on the floor and $10 in your wallet? Energetically money is a means to achieving a result. When using money in a transaction, there is agreement (or not), about the value of it in relation to an act of service, or another something. If there is such an agreement, then how can $10 evoke such extreme and diverse emotions? I have seen money cause someone to express joy, gratitude as when receiving a gift, grief, sadness, anger, greed meaning giving it ownership, dishonesty, and trust by way of a deposit. Empowering or disempowering, our relationship with money is our choice. By obsessing about it, it controls you. By valuing it, you can be comforted, and by abusing it, it can abuse you back. [/s2If]

In order to progress financially we must move money around. Anything that sits long enough will gather dust and loose its luster (value). It’s not about the quantity, it’s that you value what you have enough that you attract more to you. Who has heard someone say, “I’ll be happy when I have enough”? When and how much will that be? How would you choose to feel in the interim? As with any cycle, money ebbs and flows. It is a fair assumption that if you have enough, the degree to which it fluctuates matters less.
Are there successful ways to transact with money? There are countless experts, and you can pay as much money as you like for advice. Is it possible to have little surplus money and be happy? Perhaps spend some time reflecting on this question, as the answer is only yours to define. Is it ok to hold money back? Many do and that may serve a purpose at certain times in the cycle. Is money all there is to give and receive? Again, something to ponder.
I can remember a conversation that offered an alternative when I did not have money to give. “When you give from the heart, it’s priceless”, so when I could I would barter- time, acts of service, something home-made, a hug, a smile, a drawing and sometimes I’d get in first.
The money sector is in the top left of the Bagua. There are some key enhancements for this sector.
• some lush healthy plants
• a gently flowing water feature or some fish moving in a pond
• a light that glows red
• red or gold items, chimes, bells, coins
• symbols and signs/ messages of joy and gratitude
Ensure that these are clean and moved around regularly to denote flow and reflect abundance.
Celebrate your gratitude and when in doubt, enjoy your journey …
